Child protective investigators will have one standard badge with a solid blue outline, while adult protective investigators will carry a similar badge with a purple Know your rights in a Child Protective Services investigation.

Adult Protective Services receives and investigates reports of allegations of abuse, abandonment, neglect, self-neglect and financial exploitation of vulnerable adults living in the community and in facilities. Report abuse if you suspect a vulnerable adult is being harmed.
